As the programme is cloud-based, there is no direct installation process. However, there is preparatory work to enter all practice staff into the system, as well as basic training. ### How did you calculate the cost effectiveness using Maiya? We realised that by automating manual processes and optimising appointment times, each GP saves the medical team time, which leads to cost savings. This data was obtained in previous studies. We are currently working with Medipex, a healthcare innovation hub, to obtain the most up-to-date data and build an evidence base for Maiya's cost-effectiveness. ### How Maiya interacts with patients? Maiya sends patients a questionnaire via SMS and email. Based on the answers, Maiya decides what type of interaction with the patient is needed (appointment, prescription renewal, etc.) ### Does Maiya interact with other programs used in practice? Maiya is integrated with EMIS and Systmone as well as with GP Connect.
